Garrett Conrad Scholarship

The Garrett Conrad Scholarship is awarded to an undergraduate student with a documented disability, who is registered with Disability Services, enrolled for at least six credits and has completed at least one semester at Fitchburg State. It is granted to a student one time only. The scholarship honors Garrett Conrad, a Fitchburg State student who had quadriplegia after a car accident. In 1992, Garrett said, “Everyone has their moments of depression. But I think it’s part of my nature to be positive. I don’t even think about my injury that much”.
